We were the only customers at this place which worried us a little but in the end the food was good. We were attracted by the daily specials (20soles for food and drink) but ended up buying from the menu.We wanted tequenos (similar to fried spring rolls) as a started but were informed after 5 minutes they had run out. My first choice main came with tacu tacu but again they had run out. So much for our Peruvian meal! We had fish in a very strong garlic sauce and sudado fish (a think stew based on tomato and onion). The dishes had strong, tasty flavours. We had decent piscos (8 soles) too.

Ambiente acogedor, muy buen servicio. Carta variada a predominio de platos criollos tipicos y comida marina. MLas recomendaciones del chef son para tener en cuenta. Especial recomendación a la causa de la casa aue me pareció espectacular. Volveré de hecho.

This is a very good small restaurant near the plaza of Trujillo, food is great, only open for dinner, we tried grilled mushrooms that were great, and a meat fillet that was done to perfection. a nice place for a romantic dinner.

Fui con mi familia, y la pasamos muy bien, al ambiente muy agradable, si bien es cierto que se demoraron en atendernos, sin embargo todo estuvo agradable, la variedad de platos es interesante, el detalle es que se aseguren que van a estar disponibles, lo digo porque pedi un plato y me dijeron que no había. A pesar de todo estuvo bueno todo.

Restaurant Caminito is a good choice to try some local dishes. The staff was excellent to explain the different items on the menu. The salads were large and fresh and the chicken fillet and Brazilian meat were very good. The service was very attentive in this busy restaurant.

I really enjoyed Mr Gabo! They had delicious fresh hot coffee. The atmosphere was great including working AC and wifi! The service was also fantastic with very attentive workers.
